HOLIDAY GIFT DONORS NEEDED
Adopt a Homeless Family

TROY, MI - The holiday season is fast approaching and the nonprofit Community Housing Network (CHN) is looking for people willing to help formerly homeless families or individual with disabilities meet basic needs. The needs are great for your neighbors in Oakland and Macomb County. You can help by donating gifts, wrapping paper, cash or gift-cards. Your cash donation allows CHN staff to fill the gap for families that have special needs or require additional assistance. Please call 248-928-0111 to adopt-a-formerly homeless family.

CHN was overwhelmed by the generosity of metro area residents during last year's Adopt-A-Family program. This year more than 250 families and individuals have sought help or been admitted to CHN programs. Many of them subsist on disability benefits or very limited incomes. Often, these families can barely afford necessities such as groceries and cleaning supplies. Please consider making your holidays even better by adopting a family or an individual during this season of sharing. We are also looking for volunteers to assist us in creating a special holiday for our families in need.
