HOLIDAY GIFT DONORS NEEDED
Adopt a Formerly Homeless Family

TROY, MI - The holiday season is fast approaching and Community Housing Network (CHN), a nonprofit organization, is looking for people willing to help formerly homeless families or individual with disabilities meet basic needs. CHN was overwhelmed by the generosity of metro area residents during last year's Adopt-A-Family program. The needs are even greater this year for your neighbors in Oakland and Macomb County.

You can help by donating cash, gifts, gift cards and wrapping paper. Your cash donation allows CHN staff to fill the gap for families that have special needs or require additional assistance. We are also looking for volunteers to assist us in creating a special holiday for our families in need.

Currently, CHN provides 370 families and individuals with rental assistance. Many of them subsist on disability benefits or very limited incomes. Often, they can barely afford necessities such as groceries and cleaning supplies. Please consider making your holidays even better by adopting a family or an individual during this season of sharing.
