In response to the Congressional directive and HUD mandate, the Community Housing Network, Inc. (CHN) in collaboration with the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH), the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and the Michigan Statewide Homeless Management Information System (MSHMIS) will implement an internet-based technology within Oakland County that will assist homeless service organizations and Continuums of Care (CoCs) with capturing information about the clients that they service.
The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness maintains an up-to-date list of agencies actively participating in HMIS.
The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness maintains a complete list of more than 60 HMIS documents available for download in PDF format and .doc formats. Documents include contracts, privacy notices, training resources, forms, certificates and technical reference documents.
