Welcome to the Housing Resource Center!

Community Housing Network's Housing Resource Center is a
one-stop-shop to help people with their housing needs. Our roommate database, housing planning library, and programs such as Getting Your Own Address (see Housing & Transition Planning at left) have helped thousands of people reach their goals to achieve long-term, successful housing.

The Housing Resource Center will direct you to resources at Community Housing Network and other organizations. We collaborate closely with our community partners to provide the highest level of service possible to those who need it most.

Raise the Roof looking for volunteers!

Calling all volunteers! Our annual fundraiser, Raise the Roof for Affordable Housing, will take place on Thursday, October 11. We can use your help!

We're looking for volunteers to secure auction item donations and sponsorships. We're also looking for people interested in serving on the event committee. If you are interested, please contact Leslie Groves at LGroves@chninc.net or (248) 269-1312.

Man finds success with supportive housing

Within days of being involved in a car accident, Ernest Houser, a professional boxer, experienced a seizure that caused him to fall and hit his head on the concrete. Life as he knew it changed completely. The fall left Ernest in a coma and when he awoke, he had no remembrance of his past. His mind was wiped clean, and he had to re-learn basic skills like walking, talking, reading and writing. more
