Emergency Housing

Transitional homes offer a temporary, safe, supported environment that will assist in linking the individual or family to supported services in the community. Unlike a shelter, in which the individual or family must leave each morning, transitional housing offers continued residence from 90 days to one year depending on the home.

Shelters offer overnight protection, especially during the cold season. However, beds are limited and the individual/family must contact the shelter first to check on availability.
