The Independent Living Club is geared toward consumers who currently live independently or express an interest in such living arrangements for the future. Friends and family members are also welcome to attend. Meetings will take place on a monthly basis.
Some of the topics which will be covered are money management, home improvement, security issues, conflict management, social opportunities and homeowner/renter insurance information. We also want to hear your suggestions for topics to discuss at future meetings.
Feel free to bring a parent, friend or caseworker along. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about being successful in an independent living arrangement as well as a chance to meet others who are in similar living situations.
