People who receive services through an Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority provider, their families, case managers, support persons, or support coordinators.

This workshop is for persons who receive services through an Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority provider who wish to apply for Social Security benefits or who have applied and were denied or who have questions about the appeals process or who have lost their benefits or who want to know how to renew their benefits or who want to avoid loss of benefits! There will be Legal Student Advocates available after the workshop to provide technical assistance to case managers, support persons, and consumers, and to answer specific questions. A box lunch will be provided. This workshop is presented by Sharon Terry, Benefit Specialist from Mall Malisow Firm, PC and former FIA staff member.
